. — Material: bamboo. Before the process started, it was important to know strenghts as well as the limitations of the material.


. —  Through looking into traditional joining systems we  experimented with new ways of creating units without  using any other  materials than rope.


. — The pavilion was built on a grid system and all its elements within it. They are all connected and referencing each other.


. — It was important to have a step-by-step building system, as it should easy to construct and de-construct in a limited timeframe.


. — The joining system had to be minimum amount for the students to comprehend and memorise.


. — The pavilion has been designed in a way so it can provide  space for various exhibition settings.

THE PAVILION WILL BE EXHIBITED IN THE CENTRAL SAINT MARTINS DEGREE SHOW 2016
